Selection of candidates for admission to the course is made by the institution in the 50% of the sanctioned intake. Admissions are made on merit determined on the basis of the marks secured in the qualifying examination and subject to the Rules and regulations of the University and NCTE. Admissions in the remaining 50% seats are permitted to be filled by the Government through the CAT entrance test and as per merit.

Eligibility for Admission :

1. A citizen of India who has passed B.A./B.Sc. degree examiniation of Bangalore University or any University in India or abroad recognised as equvalent through 10+2+3 patten of education with 50% marks in aggregate of all the subjects he / she has studied for 3 years, is eligible for admission to B.Ed. Course provided :

a) He / She has studied at least any ONE of the following languages : 1. Kannada, 2. English 3.Hindi 4. Urdu 5. Marathi 6.Sanskrit

b) Any TWO of the following Electives : 1, History 2, Political Science 3, Sociology 4, Geography   5, Psychology  6, Economics  7, Philosophy  8, Physics  9, Chemistry  10, Botany  11, Zoology  12, Geology  13, Mathematics  14, English  15, Kannada  16, Hindi,  17, Urdu  18,Marathi  19, Sanskrit  20, Micro Biology  21, Bio-Technology  22, Computer Science  23, Electronics 24, Statistics.

2.  The minimum marks for the purpose of eligibility in the case of SC/ST Category-1 and Physically Handicapped students shall be 45% in the aggregate of the 3 years of their degree course.

CERTIFICATE REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION :

Students seeking admission for B.E.d Course should submit the following orginal documents.

 a) 3 years degree Marks Card

 b) Provisional / Degree Certificate

 c) Transfer Certificate from the previous college or institution where the student had studied.

 d) Migration Certificate in respect of students from other University.

 e) S.S.L.C. Marks Card for proof

 f) Caste certificate and physicall handicapped certificate in case of SC/ST and physically handicapped students.
